How disgusting.
I think this will be the last time I update this space, and like as not I'm going to seek hosting elsewhere. Maybe I'll go back to using the space Bibok gave me.
Why? Not solely because of the adult-art thing, though it certainly is still a minor reason. My problem is the behavior of the users, overall, in reaction to this. I can understand that on any internet forum there's bound to be people who will pick fights, but... it seems like %70 of the posts I saw were nothing but arguments. Fuck, even one of the MODERATORS of this damn site had descended to preschool nonsense, which boils down to why I leave.
Because it's clear to me now that this is a collection of immature children who can't conduct themselves in a social situation to save their lives, and seem to argue and hurl vulgarity just to look cool or smart.
I saw a mod doing the same thing, and it reflected his level of maturity. But overall, the mods are a disappointment to me. A few people left some truly non-confrontational posts, and a few even offered help with hosting, and these people responded with arrogance and ignorance. They aren't mature enough to be running ANY site.
And finally, like I said, I saw some well composed, well-thought-out, and genuinely conversational comments on the subject. And the ones that disagreed with the changes, were also intelligent and brought up good points about art in general. And these people where shoved aside and ignored so that the brats could troll and fight and flame.
One mod told a user, more or less, that if they didn't like it they could simply leave. I'll follow that advice. A lot of my friends are leaving anyway, and I'll be damned before I associate myself with a bunch of whining, petulant, ill-tempered BABIES.
I'll keep you all posted as to where my art goes, next. But I'm grateful for the support, everyone.
